Teenager's Study Refresh - Lutterworth
Transforming Houses into Homes
The initial design included moodboards with vibrant greens and blush pinks together with the addition of a mural on one wall to create a more current feel. Using walls and woodwork in the same colour gave the room a calm supporting feel and made the space feel bigger. Extending one darker green wall onto the ceiling further added to the cosy feel of the room.
A small two seater sofa bed could fit under the window and would be useful if friends stay. A blind in a gorgeous green with blush zigzag pattern added texture and personality, creating a coherent feel to the rest of the scheme. Lamps were used to create mood lighting and a task light on the desk added more light when working. To finish the look, cushions and throws were added to the sofa together with pictures on the wall plus client's personal treasures displayed to give an individual touch. The project is currently being completed and further pictures will be added.
