Transforming Houses into Homes

A small kitchen was extended to make room for a table and chairs so the family could eat, enjoy coffee, or just relax.  Table and chairs, sourced on eBay, walls and cupboard doors were all painted in french grey to create a coherent look and feel throughout the kitchen.  

A full height cupboard with pantry doors was added to create more storage plus the sink and taps were changed to fit in with the overall scheme. The splashback tiles above the worktops were removed and replaced with a simple upstand. Behind the oven new tiles, sourced from Fired Earth, were added to create a rustic charm.

Laminate wood effect flooring in a greige colour was chosen to fit in with the selected colour scheme.  Peg rails joined together on one wall created a great place to display accessories that could be easily updated with the changing seasons. Other kitchen accessories like wooden chopping boards and candle holders were used to add warmth to the final design.
